Two and a half hours west of Marrakech, the plains give way to the Atlantic and the walled town of Essaouira: blue boats in the harbour, fresh fish on the grill, and the wind keeping the summer heat away.
The day is private — your car, your driver-guide and your pace. Walk the ramparts, wander the medina’s galleries and souks, or just sit by the port with a coffee: this is a day that fills itself.

Accommodation
A same-day route — no overnight. The whole day is private, and the return can be as early or as late as you like within daylight hours.
Good to know
Are the dates flexible?
Yes. Every departure is private, so the route runs on your calendar — tell us when you arrive and we build the days around it.
What happens if the weather turns?
Safety comes first. In rain or a heavy sandstorm we swap the exposed sections for an adapted route or a 4x4, and keep the rest of the experience intact.
Is Essaouira worth a full day?
Absolutely. The medina and ramparts alone take a good two hours, and between the harbour, the beach and the souks the day fills itself. If you would rather stay overnight, say the word and we will book a riad.
What is the weather like on the coast?
Essaouira is breezy — the “windy city” — which keeps it cool in summer. Bring a light layer even in the warm months.
